Lincoln Electric has a terrific opportunity for a CAD Drafter supporting our Cleveland, Ohio headquarters. The CAD Drafter will play a key role in supporting drafting needs for the Plant Engineering Department and implementation of AutoCAD within the group. What You Will Do
Plant Engineering implements capital projects and provides engineering support for the Consumable and Machine divisions of the Cleveland Operations. The CAD Drafter is responsible for the following:
• Support Plant Engineers with creation and/or modifying drawings.
• Support Maintenance by modifying drawings that require updates.
• Support Common Services, Fabrication, and Construction with drawings.
• Document existing production and facility equipment
• Maintain and update drawings
• Assist the CAD Administrator in the development and maintenance of templates, and standard parts library.
• Assist the CAD Administrator in training CAD user and developing training content.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2026 Strategy.
Summary
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 - 2 or more years relative experience.
• Technically proficient in using software applications such as MS Office, etc.
• Ability to effectively apply all drafting standards, practices, and procedures.
• Uncompromising attitude towards quality.
• Must be organized and pay attention to details.
• Self-motivated with a high level of commitment; able to work independently and as a team player.
• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Perform in a fast-paced environment on multiple assignments.
• Selected candidate’s Job Level and Pay Grade will be determined based upon qualifications and experience.
