Summary
Lincoln Electric has an outstanding opportunity for an R&D Facilities Coordinator at our Cleveland manufacturing headquarters. The R&D Facilities Coordinator is a Technician role that will support the successful operation of Consumable R&D by managing equipment and materials critical to the department.

What You Will Do
The R&D Facilities Coordinator ensures continuity of critical steel supply needed for welding purposes by managing inventory and interfacing with suppliers. In addition, you will:
- Manage equipment and facilitates safety improvements to the department, including coordinating with Maintenance and Facilities departments where necessary.
- Maintain and organizes interdepartmental supplies for welding and project work.
- Manage incoming material shipments to department.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance to maintain calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Perform additional tasks as required by engineers or supervisor.
- Assume additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.
Education & Experience Requirements
- High school diploma, vocational training (but does not require a university degree) and 3+ years of experience.
- Good hands-on and troubleshooting skills. Mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Tow motor certification preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently and as a part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain neat, accurate records.
- Ability to develop a positive and cooperative work environment with colleagues and supervisors.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Understand and follow all procedures, specifications, and Plant Rules and Regulations associated with the performance of this job.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis.
