Job Responsibilities

Purpose: Schedulers are responsible for scheduling, assembly, and supply areas in the department using the LSR and supply dispatch reports. They will work closely with departmental supervision and production planning with primary responsibility for resolving parts shortages (of all types) and also overdue order performance.


JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Review all shop orders for accuracy
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineering, Master Data, Production Planning, and IT to assure SAP data integrity
  • Work with departmental supervision to ensure personnel/flexibility requirements are met
  • Responsible for piecework posting support and the integrity of piecework reporting
  • Schedule using the Dispatch Report, Line Scheduling Report, and MES tools
  • Work with core team and other departments to reduce overdue orders
  • Work with departments to meet daily requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Team Lead.

Job Requirements

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school education or equivalent in experience.
  • Working knowledge of our production and shop floor control systems.
  • Familiar with our component parts and finished products.
  • Understanding of our ROP, Visual, PULL and SPIKE replenishment systems.
  • Able to work well both independently and with other departments
  • Above average communication skills
  • Well organized and capable of planning ahead
  • Excellent SAP, MES, Word, and Excel skills
  • Near perfect attendance is essential
