PURPOSE: Work with employees to improve their skills and job knowledge. Set-up, maintain, and troubleshoot processing equipment in Department 27. Reports to the Department Supervisor.

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)
•    Train and guide employees to enhance their skills and job knowledge: Promote a positive and safe work environment.
•    Ensure production lines run safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime: Address issues related to hard stuff, silicate, moisture, and rework particle size, Perform routine maintenance and inspections and Assist with equipment changeovers and maintain various equipment.
•    Prepare Set-Up Sheets to ensure smooth operation.
•    Ensure effective material movement within the department.
•    Track and control operational efficiency.
•    Maintain and ensure proper use of tooling, equipment, and supplies.
•    Detect and address quality non-conformances.
•    Assist with maintaining inventory of chemicals used in manufacturing.
•    Ensure safety, cleanliness, and quality in the work area.
•    Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
•    High school degree or equivalent required.
•    Knowledge of production processes, equipment, and human resource requirements.
•    Self-motivated, safety and quality conscious.
•    Work dependably with minimal supervision.
•    Ability to lift at least 100 lbs. and perform strenuous work in confined spaces.
•    Experience with operations in the Process Chemical Departments.
•    Selected candidate’s Job Level and Pay Grade will be determined based upon qualifications and experience.
