Summary

Drive data-driven sustainability insights by conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), developing Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), and ensuring compliance with global disclosure standards (CSRD, California Climate Laws, etc.). Partner with internal sites to execute 2030 sustainability goals, enhance data systems for audit readiness, and deliver exceptional customer support on sustainability requests.

Responsibilities

  • LCA & EPD Development: Perform Life Cycle Assessments using  GaBi/LCAFE to generate verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).
  • Compliance & Reporting: Build and maintain robust sustainability data architecture to meet CSRD, California SB 253/261, and other regional requirements; author sections of the annual Sustainability Report.
  • Site-Level Execution: Collaborate with Lincoln manufacturing sites to identify, prioritize, and implement GHG reduction projects aligned with 2030 science-based targets.
  • Data Governance: Design automated data collection workflows, document methodologies, and ensure audit trail integrity for Scope 1–3 emissions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer sustainability inquiries; translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strategic Support: Contribute to the Company’s 2030 Sustainability Strategy through ad-hoc analysis, benchmarking, and cross-functional initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Material Science, or Data Analytics.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in sustainability data management, LCA modeling, and regulatory reporting (CSRD/ESRS exposure a plus).
  • Proven track record of self-directed project leadership in aggressive, fast-paced environments.

 

Preferred 

  • Proficiency in LCA software (GaBi/LCAFE, SimaPro)
  • Certification: LEED GA, LEED AP, or LCA Certified Professional (LCACP).
  • Experience with GHG Protocol, SBTi target-setting, and CDP Reporting.
  • Strong customer-facing communication—ability to distill technical data for non-expert audiences.
