JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Collaborate with internal marketing team from conception through production on projects for clients
  • Be accountable for daily workflow, project planning and shoot schedule
  • Responsible for the final video in its entirety - lighting, styling, cleanliness, compositions, post production, etc.
  • Determine lighting requirements, equipment needs, background, props and product set up as well as any additional specifications to ensure quality shooting
  • Ability to capture footage in a variety of spaces and locations for product, marketing, and corporate needs
  • Ability to light scenes for specific affects and scenarios in studio and in the field
  • Designs, transports, sets up, and operates production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment, for field and for studio productions
  • Responsible for booking voice talent for voice overs
  • Responsible for engaging with third party vendors for additional help on projects when needed
  • Responsible for all post production - editing, rendering, etc.
  • Equipment management- scheduling maintenance and repairs while maintaining adherence to production and rental schedules
  • Organizing, adding meta-data and archiving video assets
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • BA or BFA in videography, film, broadcasting, video edition preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in videography /video editing
  • Mastery of video software required (Final Cut Studio suite / After Effects)
  • Mastery of High Definition digital video cameras and hardware required (Canon and Sony)
  • A portfolio that demonstrates expertise in applied techniques and working knowledge of videography, lighting, composition and post production
  • In-depth knowledge of lighting and lighting systems, especially for specific affects and scenarios
  • Experience with expense comparison and record keeping
  • Experience with multichannel audio
  • Equipment savvy with knowledge of lenses, microphones, etc.
  • Knowledge of video file formats and codecs
  • Product videography
  • Proficient in Mac platform
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs
  • 3D modeling experience a plus
  • Social/digital media experience a plus
  • Live broadcasting or livestream experience a plus
  • Professional attitude on set and in front of clients
  • Reliable with the ability to adapt to changing conditions
  • Ability to work under pressure in deadline-driven environment
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize/multi-task and follow projects through to completion
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on projects solo or with a team
  • Excellent people skills
  • Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
