Position Summary: Program management, Project planning, Customer communication
Role qualifications:
- Must be familiar with Company quality objectives and play an active role in reaching continuous improvement objectives.
- Play an active role in building customer account relationships and communicating issues that could impact customer satisfaction.
- Play an active role determining customer related processes/requirements and how they relate to our product.
Position responsibilities:
- Project planning – develop detailed plans to manage each project from start to finish; review plans through the life of the project as part of, and with, other members of the operations team.
- Leading technical and commercial discussions regarding a specifics as related to project scope
- Manage project budgets and timelines to meet customer expectations and company goals.
- Lead customer design review and acceptance process offering assistance to maintain quoted scope and securing change orders to encompass new customer requirements.
- Lead the coordination of all project resources including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, testing, runoff, field installation, startup, and training as needed to insure project timing and budget adherence.
- Lead planning and coordination of on-site installation and start-up activities including commissioning of equipment and resolution of final customer acceptance and final payment
- Lead all project related customer communications
- Focus on Project Team Leadership and Departmental Performance Metrics to drive a continuous improvement mindset.
- Update project cost tracking sheets on a weekly schedule.
- Conduct closed order analysis at conclusion of project.
- Assist with ensuring customer billing and payment is accurate and on schedule throughout project timeline.
- Travel potential (day and/or overnight) up to 25% as necessary to complete functions of position
Essential skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Management or equivalent in experience.
- Minimum 1+ year experience in project management, program management or equivalent
- Industrial Robotic, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Industrial Controls experience preferred.
- Computer proficiency, including SmartSheet, and project management software such as Project Live 365.
Nonessential skills and experience:
- FMEA, Equipment Capability, Safety (OSHA Stds)
- CAD 3D Modeling
- RIA Risk Assessments
- Strong customer orientation
- Excellent interpersonal, communications and leadership skills

- Understand the Company’s EHS Policy and how it relates to this job.
- Be aware of OSHA & EPA laws and regulations as well as the Company’s Plant Rules and Regulations that pertain to this job.
- Work in a safe and environmentally friendly manner and observe all company EHS procedures.
- Know that the company EHS procedures are located on the ISO drive.
- Immediately notify the Supervisor if there is any safety hazard, any equipment not operating correctly, or if there are any questions regarding EHS procedures.
- Attend required EHS training
