PURPOSE: Actively manage and grow $10M million territory; drive corporate and regional strategic initiatives; build distributor relationships to grow discretionary sales and promote your own target programs to increase share. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Actively manage and grow existing $10M territory in the Greater Lexington KY area.
  • Engage all large and medium end-users to deliver Lincoln’s total value proposition to increase sales.
  • Manage strategic relationships with key automotive, heavy fabrication, and large end-users’; Hendrickson, Manchester Tank, Tarter, Toyotetsu, Hyster-Yale, etc.
  • Aggressively engage all large and medium end-users to deliver Lincoln's total value proposition and increase sales. Provide technical support, demonstrations, and training where needed and where it will drive a positive sales result. Drive corporate and regional strategic initiatives with focus on growing Top Line, Alloy, Automation, and High Technology Products.
  • Develop strategies to grow business with key distribution partners within the territory. Provide distributor training as needed; support and promote corporate distributor programs, and create your own targeted programs to drive sales and increase share through this channel.
  • Provide End-user training support and promote Lincoln’s complete product offering to all key strategic accounts in the assigned territory.
  • Drive Educational Programs to all major technical colleges and Unions to increase product share and visibility in these facilities. 
  • Assume additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering discipline strongly preferred; Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a Lincoln Electric Technical Sales Representative or similar Lincoln Electric position preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrates abilities to manage a portfolio size of $10 MM+.
  • Self-motivated, aggressive and independent.
  • Ability to relocate to Lexington KY area.
