Lincoln Electric is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor for Euclid, OH world headquarters. The Night Shift Supervisor will support our Additive Manufacturing operation. This individual will play a pivotal role in leading and mentoring night shift production staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in a 24/7 production environment.

What You Will Do 
 

  • Lead and coordinate shift production activities, tasks, and priorities to meet production requirements.
  • Act as indirect supervisor of Additive Production Operators, resolve work task related problems, and provide input for company performance evaluations.
  • Understand general and job specific manufacturing requirements leading the team to meet customer and quality specifications. Evaluate production workmanship and identify manufacturing quality non-conformances.
  • Perform all tasks under limited supervision, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
  • Provide training and assistance to less experienced Additive Production Operators.
  • Assume ownership of work tasks and demonstrate initiative to get work completed in a timely manner.
  • Work with Technicians and Engineers to set up jobs to be run on additive robotic production cells.
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain additive robotic production cells to ensure productivity and quality.
  • Recognize and lead the correction of welding process variations following defined procedures.
  • Leads, performs, and inspects robotic weld repair/process corrections.
  • Operate cranes, forklift trucks, and perform material handling.
  • Operate shop tools including grinders, plasma torches, hand tools, impact drivers, drills, and saws.
  • Responsible for the correct and safe use of rigging/lifting equipment.
  • Perform work assignments efficiently while being consistent with good safety practices.
  • Report any maintenance and/or safety issues to Operations Manager.  
  • Obey and promote all safety rules, maintain the cleanliness of the work area, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Reports directly to the department Operations Manager.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.

Education & Experience Requirements

 

  • US Citizenship Required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years relative experience.
  • Team oriented, self-motivated, safety and quality conscious, requiring minimal supervision.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Able to organize and maintain a neat work area.
  • Able to maintain production records.
  • Able to drive a forklift truck, operate cranes, and use rigging equipment.
  • Must have extensive knowledge and experience in the GMAW Welding process.
  • Previous experience with Robotic Welding is strongly preferred.
  • AWS CWI certification preferred. 
  • Capable of lifting 60 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Must be able to wear a respirator or PAPR.
  • Uncompromising attitude toward safety, environment, health, and quality.
  • Ability to handle employee and production issues in an efficient and professional manner.
