PURPOSE: Actively manage this growing $8M territory.  Drive corporate and regional strategic initiatives; manage larger key accounts; build distributor relationships and promote your own target programs to continue increasing our market share.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Actively manage and grow sales in existing $8 Million territory
  • Provide technical support, demonstrations, and training where needed.  Grow Alloy and Automation Sales
  • Aggressively engage all Metal fabrication end-users to deliver Lincoln Electric’s total value proposition and solutions
  • Join a dynamic Philadelphia Sales Team which encompasses Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York, and New Jersey
  • Provide distributor training as needed, support and promote corporate programs, and develop target opportunities    to drive sales and increase our growth through each of these same channels
  • Drive Educational Program in Schools and Unions to increase our presence and displace competitive market share
  • Territory is now combined to include Syracuse, Finger Lakes, Saratoga Springs, Plattsburgh and surrounding areas
  • Minimal overnight travel required
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Sales Representative or similar position
  • Above average sales performance over the last two years
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of > $5M
  • Self-motivated, aggressive and independent
