Position Summary

 

This job involves providing technical support of our customers small to large custom robotic welding and cutting systems including the topics of maintenance, troubleshooting system problems, system installation, welding, cutting and grinding process development, robot programming, customer training, documentation.  Responsibilities also include providing technical support for Customer Support Engineers.  Job location will be based in Fort Collins, CO. 

           

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Handle incoming technical phone support calls for internal and external customers on Wolf Robotics products
  • Coordinate technical issues with appropriate resources for resolution
  • Proper communication and follow up with customers
  • Coordinate logistics and technical support for Wolf Customer Support Engineers and other Wolf personnel for service needs.
  • Repair, rebuild, and testing of product service related items

 

Secondary Responsibilities:

 

  • Customer Training
  • Manufacturing floor - technical support, system functional testing and verification
  • Facilitate coordination and documentation for repairs and rebuilds
  • Provide onsite support for occasional technical support trips for customers
  • Organizing and maintaining lab robot systems

 

Technical Skills Required:

 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience required in industrial automation, integration, field service or robotic arc welding or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years technical experience with ABB robot platform.  Fanuc robot platform experience preferred.
  • Excellent electrical troubleshooting skills. 
  • Must have experience with GMAW. 
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints.
  • Ability to use common hand tools, Digital Volt Meter and diagnostic equipment. 
  • Ability to develop and document procedures. 
  • Excellent electrical troubleshooting skills. 
  • PC literate in MS Office applications. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Job Scope:

 

This job involves technical phone support, training, service, and product rebuild / repair for new and existing Wolf Robotics customers. Travel requirement is approximately 10-20%

  • Physical demands: Work is usually a mix of sedentary and walking.  Use of the telephone is extensive. In the office there is minimal reaching, bending and lifting in relationship to documents and stored records. When at a customer facility, there will be lifting, reaching, bending, dragging, pulling and carrying of parts and equipment.  This individual may have to walk long distances to reach the equipment within the customer’s facility.

 

  • Work environment: This individual may have to sit for long periods of time. The noise level is usually moderate. Traveling may be unplanned and immediate; hours may be irregular.

 

Wage Rate: $45,423.00 - $84,357.00
