Continuous Improvement Engineer

Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a results-oriented professional to lead continuous improvement initiatives in our production units. The position involves mapping and analyzing processes, leading Lean and Kaizen projects, and implementing performance indicators to optimize efficiency. You will work in partnership with cross-functional teams, identify automation opportunities, and support digitalization aligned with Industry 4.0. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Engineering or related fields, has at least 5 years of experience in the industrial sector, and is knowledgeable in Lean tools. Green or Black Belt certifications and intermediate English or Spanish are considered a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Map and analyze production processes to identify improvement opportunities
- Lead continuous improvement projects using tools such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, PDCA, DMAIC, among others
- Develop and apply performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor process effectiveness
- Conduct time and motion studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis
- Identify opportunities for process or routine automation within both production units
- Collaborate with areas such as Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics to ensure effective implementation of improvements
- Train and develop operational and technical teams in continuous improvement methodologies
- Prepare technical reports and present results to leadership
- Participate in internal and external audits related to operational efficiency
Job Requirements
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields
Additional Qualifications
- Intermediate English and/or Spanish preferred
- Green or Black Belt certification or training is desirable
Experience
- Experience with process digitalization and Industry 4.0
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the industrial sector
