Burlington Automation, a Lincoln Electric Company, designs and manufactures automatic CNC metal fabrication machinery, tube finishing equipment and material handling equipment. Fabricating machinery includes the PythonX Structural Steel Fabrication System, CNC machining centers, CNC drill lines, beam lines, punch lines and angle lines.
Job Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Must be able to lift on a regular basis up to 40lbs
- Possess problem solving skills, communication skills
- Ability to use power hand tools for aid in assembly
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Able to understand and interpret the specifications and procedures related to this job
- Welding experience is a key asset
- Forklift and crane experience an asset
Job Responsibilities
Major Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Production Supervisor regarding all electrical/mechanical assembly
- Assemble and wire small to large electrical panels
- Route wiring harnesses through structures and sub-assemblies
- Electrically wire transfer and conveyor systems
- Mechanically assemble large assemblies and conveyor systems
- Mechanical assembly of smaller sub-components.
- Ensure that all assemblies of systems meet customer requirements and system specifications
- Work independently and in team environments in achieving tasks
- Adhere to and follow all safely regulations, policies and codes, with or without direct supervision
- Additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
