• Communicate to the Automation Production and Service Manager all relevant matters pertaining to repair, assembly, integration and installations of Automation Systems in the Automation Division.
• Troubleshoot and repair of Lincoln Electric Welding Equipment, Automation Systems and Cobots on and off-site including Warranty work.
• Key mechanical/electrical assembler and where required, installer of custom equipment including Cobots, Robotics, Hard Automation and Environmental systems.
• Ensure that all assemblies of systems meet customer requirements and system specifications.
• Provide trouble shooting, repair and technical support services as required required to travel to support commissioning, installation and repair of all equipment within Canada or outside Canada if necessary
• Work independently and in team environments in achieving tasks
• Adhere to and follow all safely regulations and codes while working and assembling on and off site, with or without direct supervision
• Establish and maintain a good rapport (relationship) with customers and suppliers,
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date monthly expense reports, call record (service), mileage reports.
• Fully abide and actively support Lincoln Electric’s Environmental Health & Safety policies, practices and procedures with respect to protecting the environment, the conservation of nature resources and the Health & Safety of all employees.
• Participate cooperatively in the Merit Rating/Global Performance Management Program.
• Continually contribute to the profitability of the company and ongoing business operations by initiating, recommending and implanting continuous improvement strategies and initiatives.
• Adhere to any Compliance policies and requirements.
• Conduct any general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Service Manager or senior management staff in a timely and professional manner.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING REQUIREMENT:
• Minimum of 2 years of community college or equivalent experience in the Electro-Mechanical assignments
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing facility with hands on background in Electro-Mechanical system assembly, testing and troubleshooting
• Experience on repair of welding equipment is a key asset
