Position Summary:  Lincoln has an outstanding opportunity for an Electro-Mechanical Technician. The Electro-Mechanical Technician plays a key role in assembling and testing our equipment within our Advanced Motion Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work. What You Will Do: As an assembly technician you will contribute to our production efforts while working in a collaborative environment focused on excellence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic components and mechanical systems following detailed instructions and schematics
  • Utilize tools such as power tools, hand tools, and an Ohmmeter for testing and assembly
  • Use a PC to check/locate stock, bills of material, prints, manage work orders etc.
  • Perform duties with strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly processes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency

Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED is a common requirement, along with vocational training or an associate degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adherence to safety policies and demonstrating safe work habits at all times
  • Uncompromising attitude towards quality and customer satisfaction
  • Strong interpersonal skills, must be able to communicate with internal teams and arbitrate difficult problems
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision; willing to work overtime as needed
  • Team oriented; interact with other departments to garner support and constructively solve problems
