This is a US based, remote position, working directly for Zeman in Austria.
Defend/increase our market share in the assigned territory while maximizing the sales value and margins. Influence product/application portfolios to achieve growth within the market. Develop and execute sales strategy to meet or exceed target revenue objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Demonstrate company products and services; explain key selling points and product benefits while remaining focused on customer needs
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with both external customers and internal team members
- Ensure customer/distributor revenue targets are achieved while incorporating the full range of products within identified geography
- Develop and maintain relationships with key distributors while facilitating ongoing product training and support
- Implement new sales strategies and techniques to ensure continual improvement in capability, knowledge, customer service, performance and profitability
- Independently prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to drive successful outcome
- Partner with Lincoln Electric International Sales teams to enhance cross selling and market penetration of all products into existing or new industrial accounts
- Prepare and execute reports in a timely and efficient manner; present customer reviews
- Develop an accurate annual budget plan/ forecast for the respective area and monitor performance to budget
- Support the collection and analysis of market data to drive growth and develop markets
- Support the development of an understanding of current and future market trends that may impact Zeman Bauelemente & Lincoln Electric sales
- Follow-up with customers to answer questions, drive additional sales, and ensure total satisfaction
- Perform general duties as assigned and assist in other areas as workload requires
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Commercial, Engineering or Technical background
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally (Canada) as needed, approximately 50%-60%
- Expertise in sales gained by working in a manufacturing environment
- Profound understanding of industrial products and network of customers and distributors in our market
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish sustainable relationships with customers and distributors
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to think innovatively and positively engage with distributors
- Effective working in a team environment with moderate supervision; ability to work independently and systematically
- In addition to drive & commitment to achieve personal and company goals, conceptual thinking and a continuous improvement mentality, a valid driving licence and flexibility/ willingness to travel complement the profile
