Job Responsibilities
PURPOSE: This role is responsible for pull orders for shipment efficiently and accurately.
JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Pull material associated with sales orders, stock order requests, and manufactured order requests from all bin locations from vertical heights up to twenty-one feet
- Process customer orders for shipment efficiently and accurately
- Assists in the replenishment of raw materials, machine parts, consumables, and finished product
- Resolves issues/problems associated with the efficient processing of orders
- With a strict focus on safety, operate material handling equipment as well as other machinery required to do that job in accordance with established safety procedures
Job Requirements
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with order picking
- Physically capable to stand for extended periods of time and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Computer literate – will be using SAP and Microsoft Outlook
- Not afraid of heights
- Reliable transportation
- Strong attendance record
- Experience operating lift equipment including TSP’s, High Lift Pickers, Sit/Stand up lifts preferred
- Ability to work overtime as needed
