Job Responsibilities

Ensures a safe work environment by conducting safety walks, enforcing PPE compliance, addressing hazards immediately, and modeling strong safety and 6S behaviors.

· Executes the shift production plan by confirming machine and area readiness, assigning operator coverage, monitoring output versus schedule, and assisting with startups or minor troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

· Supports operational excellence by reinforcing standard work, maintaining organization and cleanliness, coordinating material flow, and ensuring accurate completion of production, scrap, and downtime documentation.

· Actively participates in cross-functional communication and continuous improvement by engaging in shift meetings, escalating issues promptly, collaborating with maintenance/quality/engineering, and supporting team development through coaching and training

Job Requirements

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Able to understand manufacturing processes

· Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Preferred-

· Experienced with SAP, Centra/Citrix Data base

· Experience with Lean tools

· Operate material handling equipment
