Standards Coordinator

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Use laboratory equipment to prepare chemicals, mixes, and wire samples for in-process, or finished goods analysis
  • Create Cored Wire standards and Maintain Cored Wire standards Xray Program
  • Make any adjustments in X-ray Formula program 
  • Standardize both x-rays 
  • Fill in for Sample Prep from (2pm-4:30pm)
  • Be familiar with Cored Wire Mix procedures and scale car calibration
  • Complete department Pay/Hours 
  • Prepare Cored Wire End Lot Files 
  • Fill in for X-ray techs in an emergency
  • Cover X-ray Coordinator duties during absence 
  • PN Formula Standand Creation Lead
  • Learn Acid testing to fill in for any emergency that arises 
  • Work with X-ray Coordinators with the implementation of standards in Euclid
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Miscellaneous duties as assignment by the X-ray Coordinator
  • Reports to the X-Ray Coordinator
  • Shift is Mondy-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM

Basic Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • 1-3 years minimum experience in chemical quality or formulas validation preferred
  • Excellent attendance and the ability to work without Supervision
  • Industrious, reliable, and able to work accurately on repetitive operations
  • Familiarity with Consumable Division products is preferred
  • Possess a high level of quality consciousness
  • Ability to plan own work schedule and work exceptionally well with others in QA, Production, and Supervision
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • Must be able to set priorities, plan work, and organize the work each day to maximize efficiency
  • Must have basic Excel & PC operating skills
