Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze, implement, and optimize CPQ solutions that drive sales efficiency and support business growth. You will help ensure the successful configuration, pricing, and quoting processes across various product lines, ensuring the CPQ system meets business requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, planning, finance, production, and leadership, to understand and document business requirements for CPQ systems.
  • Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Conduct workshops and interviews with key stakeholders to define system needs, capabilities, and desired outcomes.
  • Configure and maintain the CPQ system to meet business requirements, ensuring that product catalogs, pricing rules, discounting policies, and quote templates are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CPQ workflows, data discrepancies, and integration challenges.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to ensure optimal user experience and business productivity.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and conduct system testing to ensure that new features, configurations, and upgrades meet functional requirements.
  • Work with the development and technical teams to ensure smooth deployment of CPQ solutions, including customizations, integrations, and updates.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to end-users on CPQ functionality, best practices, and process changes.
  • Serve as the point of contact for user inquiries, issues, and troubleshooting, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement of system usage.
  • Maintain accurate data within the CPQ system and ensure that it aligns with external systems such as CRM and ERP.
  • Create reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs, track sales performance, and provide insights on pricing and quoting trends.
  • Document business processes, system configurations, and user guides to ensure knowledge transfer and consistency across teams.
  • Promote and enforce the use of CPQ best practices, standards, and governance across the organization.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors in Business or related  
  • 8 years experience in CPQ (Configure, Price Quote) or similar duties

Immediate Needs

  • Update Underdeck CPQ system with current rules based on open tickets.
    • Help identify existing order/jobs that need updating based on changes required.
  • Create CPQ system for Truck Upfitting.
  • Test and release EPEQ CPQ system.

Longer Range Needs

  • Develop and maintain other CPQ systems where applicable.
  • Develop an online customer-facing CPQ tool.
