We are currently seeking to hire a PARTS PACKER at our location in Michigan City, Indiana.

Primary Duties

The primary duty is to fill customer replacement parts orders for shipping.  Duties include picking parts from warehouse, packaging parts for damage-free transit, and invoice processing.

• Must be team oriented and work cohesively with all cross disciplines in the plant.
• Verify and handle materials properly.
• Required to maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with Vanair procedures, rules, and regulations.

Skills 

• Computer skills required for shipping and invoicing of orders
• Able to read a tape measure
• Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
• Frequently stand and occasionally sit, walk, and reach with hands and arms
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Possess good communication skills with peers
• Self-motivated
