We are looking for a Creative Marketing Intern to provide creative and digital support to help bring our products and solutions to the market, increase brand awareness and corporate goals. Knowledge of welding is not required, but an affinity for modern marketing practices and graphic design and techniques is a must.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaboratively works with the Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist to develop creative digital assets for website, digital advertising, and social media.
- Develops creative assets required for email communications.
- Collaborates primarily with Canadian Marketing Team, occasionally with Canadian sales and America’s Marketing Teams.
- Responsible for meeting deadlines by providing final approved creative assets in a timely manner.
- Must adhere to corporate branding guidelines and requirements.
- Provides creative insights and recommendations to better social media engagement.
- Video editing and creation; product overview, case studies, demonstrations, etc.
- Reports to National Marketing Manager
Job Requirements
- Graphic design experience required (Adobe Suite, Indesign).
- Video Editing experience required (Premiere)
- B2B marketing experience preferred.
- Degree, diploma/certificate or currently enrolled in a Marketing, Photography/Videography, Graphic Design or comparable discipline is required.
- Proficient in MS Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of desktop publishing software.
- Proficient in Google, Facebook & Instagram creative requirements.
- Familiar with organizational, web content, design and management.
- Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Understanding of welding industry, welding markets and distribution a plus.
- Ability to work with aggressive and competing time lines.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and with teams in a matrix organization.
