Job Responsibilities

  • To assist in the erecting and assembling of standard Mechanized Automated Welding Systems for Lincoln Electric Mechanized Automation Division. 
  • Performs all tasks under limited supervision.
  • Leads and organizes project and repair work. 
  • Order and maintain spare parts. 
  • Assist with keeping neat and orderly records on work performed. 
  • Perform onsite mechanical installation on mechanized automation projects sold within Canada. 
  • Fabricate and rework parts required for the projects and prototyping. 
  • Work with Engineering, Production Team Leads, Production Manager, Group Leaders, and fellow         tradesmen to accomplish the desired result. 
  • Effectively participate in the company Global Performance Management Program. 
  • Ensure the correct use and maintenance of tools, equipment and supplies. 
  • Other duties as assigned by the Automation Production & Service Manager. 

 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a Millwright with Mechanical and Automation background. 
  • Must have successfully completed an Apprentice Program, an Associate Degree or Certificate in mechanical technology.  
  • Must pass the skilled trade assessment test for this position. 
  • Crane experience is mandatory. 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
