Job Responsibilities
- To assist in the erecting and assembling of standard Mechanized Automated Welding Systems for Lincoln Electric Mechanized Automation Division.
- Performs all tasks under limited supervision.
- Leads and organizes project and repair work.
- Order and maintain spare parts.
- Assist with keeping neat and orderly records on work performed.
- Perform onsite mechanical installation on mechanized automation projects sold within Canada.
- Fabricate and rework parts required for the projects and prototyping.
- Work with Engineering, Production Team Leads, Production Manager, Group Leaders, and fellow tradesmen to accomplish the desired result.
- Effectively participate in the company Global Performance Management Program.
- Ensure the correct use and maintenance of tools, equipment and supplies.
- Other duties as assigned by the Automation Production & Service Manager.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a Millwright with Mechanical and Automation background.
- Must have successfully completed an Apprentice Program, an Associate Degree or Certificate in mechanical technology.
- Must pass the skilled trade assessment test for this position.
- Crane experience is mandatory.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
