Scope

  • To ensure incoming products are received and logged correctly. The receiver is
    responsible for organizing and maintaining raw material locations.
  • The receiver reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager / Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • The Receiver shall unload all materials and shall inspect in-coming products, raw materials, and components as per Receiving Procedure.
  • Move materials as required.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.

Equipment

  • Must be proficient and understand the use of the warehouse and material handling equipment.
  • Must be proficient and understand the use of Computers and software including Excel, Word, and SAP.

Procedures

Must be familiar with and understand all procedures required for Inspection and Handling of materials and products.

Skills

  • Must have good organizational, interpersonal and computer skills. Must be able to read and write English.
  • Must be able to comprehend all applicable procedures.
  • Must be a Certified Counterbalance Forklift Operator.

Training

The Supply Chain Manager shall train the Receiver in conjunction with other technical personnel as directed by the Manager Supply Chain.

Education

Must have completed a secondary/high school education or possess equivalent experience.
