Job Responsibilities
- Human Resources: The Human Resources (HR) Administrator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the company's Human Resources Department. In this role, you will perform administrative tasks related to hiring, layoffs, recall, benefits, pensions, payroll (Kronos) and employee relations. You will assist plant managers and employees at various meetings. You must know and apply the rules of the collective agreement for unionized employees. You need to translate documents.
- Illness/other files: Manage short-and long-term disability, CNESST, maternity, paternity and preventative withdrawal files. Validate and complete information entered in the Quest program for accidents. Respond to surveys from the Quebec and Canadian governments.
- Departmental support: You will work closely with the company's various departments such as Management, Human Resources, Finance, Finished Products and others.
- Finished goods: Management of finished goods shipments (SAP system transactions). Work in collaboration with the plant storekeeper. Follow-up with customers and backorders. Manage finished goods returns and process customer complaints.
- Invoice payment: Administration of invoices and follow-up with customer service, if necessary, with our suppliers regarding invoicing.
- Safety/Quality: Promotes Lincoln's safety and quality objectives. Knows and follows all procedures as outlined in QMS. Works safely and practice company safety rules always. Makes safety observations and encourages colleagues to always work safely.
- Communicates internally: You must communicate effectively with employees to ensure optimal operations by prioritizing customer requirements and expectations. Be attentive to the needs and concerns of other team members and related departments. Pass on information to share experience and make knowledge and know-how accessible.
- Technical process improvement: Works with the team and/or cross-functional teams to continuously improve work processes.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- Degree: University degree in human resources and/or a combination of education and experience in an administrative environment.
- Training: Human resources or other related training
- Knowledge: You must balance empathy and efficiency in managing the needs of employees and the needs.
- Assets: Fluency in spoken and written French. Functional, methodical and professional English
Minimum experience and training requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience.
