Position Summary
The Senior IT Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of complex, high-impact technology initiatives across the organization. This role provides strategic leadership in managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills, and excels at fostering cross-functional collaboration and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of medium to large-scale IT projects, including M\&A acquisition integrations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, objectives, deliverables, risks, and success criteria.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to ensure optimal execution.
- Oversee project budgets, monitor expenditures, and maintain financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Facilitate regular status meetings, prepare detailed reports, and maintain transparent communications with stakeholders.
- Coordinate activities among internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Continuously monitor and communicate project status, actively manage risks and issues, assess organizational change readiness, and ensure delivery of appropriate training and solution documentation.
- Oversee cutover and launch activities, execute post-Go-Live support (hypercare), and conduct post-implementation audit reviews to drive continuous improvement.
- Advocate for and implement project management methodologies tailored to each initiative.
- Lead post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to enhance future project outcomes.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of project management best practices.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in IT project management, with a demonstrated record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum are strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.
- Outstanding leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
