JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and hardworking Assembler to join our team.  Under general supervision, the candidate will perform a variety of production assembly tasks.
 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform production tasks including assembling mechanical and electrical sub-components, and final machine assembly
• Complete in-process and final acceptance testing to validate products meet operational expectations
• Operate industrial equipment including forklifts and production support equipment (training available)
• Adhere to all health and safety requirements
• Work cooperatively in a team environment
• Complete assigned production documentation
• Participates in Continuous Improvement activities
• Assists with training other production team members
• Complete all training as required
• Adhere to all health and safety requirements
• Uncompromising attitude toward safety, customer service and quality
• All other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 to 3 years of assembly experience preferred
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Basic electrical knowledge and familiarity with electrical components preferred
  • Must be well-organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work Saturdays and overtime, when necessary

Physical Demand and Working Environment

• Physical demands: Must be physically able push, pull, bend, stoop, climb, reach, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and stand on concrete.
  • Working environment:  Manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, and machinery with moving parts.
