POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and hardworking Assembler to join our team.  Under general supervision, the candidate will perform a variety of mechanical tasks on equipment and will perform other duties as required. Job tasks include assembly, building, and testing of our machines.
 

JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gantry, machine sides internal rod sub, and machine sides assembly
  • Machine Testing
  • Mechanical troubleshooting
  • Basic understanding of electrical components
  • Maintain updated area hardware and small parts inventory list
  • Work closely with other factory personnel to ensure quality and timely upstream and downstream manufacturing processes
  • Work cooperatively in a team environment, maintaining high safety and quality standards
  • Participate in company programs and initiatives such as Physical Inventory
  • Various other production duties as assigned by department supervisors

 

 EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Uncompromising attitude toward safety, customer service and quality
  • Ability to use industrial tools and equipment such as mechanical hand tools, power drills, tap, grinders, drill presses, bench grinders etc.
  • Must be mechanically inclined with ability to read and understand prints and machine specifications
  • Electrical knowledge preferred
  • Ability to use and read measuring equipment (i.e. calipers) within .001”
  • Ability and willingness to work various tasks/machines to meet production requirements
  • Machining/assembling background helpful
  • Must be physically able frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and stand/walk on concrete floors for long periods of time
  • Must be well-organized
  • Ability to work Saturdays and overtime, when necessary

    • Manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, and machinery with moving parts.

 

FABRICATOR

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and hardworking Fabricator to join our team.  Under general supervision, the ideal candidate will perform a variety of skilled mechanical tasks.  Job tasks include fabricating, assembling, and repairing custom machines, and other duties as assigned.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

    • Build and test equipment, tools, and fixtures using mechanical assembly and fabrication skills
    • Operate industrial equipment including forklifts and production support equipment (training available)
    • Read an interpret drawings and work instructions
    • Complete assigned documentation
    • Design and fabricate critical components from scratch
    • Complete all training as assigned
    • Adhere to all health & safety requirements
    • All other duties as assigned

 

Education & Experience

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 3 to 5 years fabrication experience
    • Understand blueprints and work instructions
    • Must be well-organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work Saturdays and overtime, when necessary
    • Ability to learn computer software and quickly develop proficiency
    • Strong working knowledge of basic hand tools
    • Working knowledge of electrical components
    • Able to complete basic mechanical troubleshooting
    • Working knowledge of layout tools and application (tape measure, square, calipers)
    • MIG welding experience required
    • Ability to use industrial tools and equipment such as mechanical hand tools, power drills, tap, grinders, drill presses, bench grinders, industrial band saws, etc.
    • Assists and with design recommendations, training other team members, and advanced problem solving.   

 

Work Demand and Environment

    • Manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, and machinery with moving parts.
    • Must be physically able to push, pull, bend, stoop, climb, reach, lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk on concrete floors for long periods of time
