Summary of the Position
This role will be responsible for developing and understanding key customer analytical reports that will help support enhancing business sales and profits. This role will also focus on providing strategic guidance for market and product strategies. This role will also include conducting merchandising and financial analysis and analyzing sales reports. It will also examine quantitative and qualitative data across the Retail industry.
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- The ability to analyze data, processes, and systems to identify problems and opportunities.
- Work with Account Managers to coordinate new resets and promotions
- Manage and maintain positive relationships with customer Management and Merchant Teams
- Provide essential account knowledge and competencies to maintain necessary changes required based on current policies and procedures of customer to grow and maintain business
- Support business partners with key clients in downstream execution tracking, tactical communication, being a liaison with other internal departments, key metric tracking, promotion plans, development of sales presentations, and post-promo analysis
- Align with Product Manager and Marketing to grow and expand product line
- Provide feedback on the effectiveness of our customers’ strategies, selling programs, and initiatives
- Maintain current account distribution information. Provide feedback on how to build organizational capacity and improve business
- Execute and update specific customer reports such as distribution tracking, pricing reports, new item tracking, and special business initiative tracking

Education and/or Experience
- Required – Bachelor’s Degree, Preferred – Business, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Marketing, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years Retail Business Analysis in Retail Industry (preferred)
- Retail business experience a plus
- Language Skills – English required, additional languages beneficial but not required
- Mathematical Skills – Strong quantitative and analytical skills; basic financial acumen
- Reasoning Ability – Ability to make recommendations and decisions based on quantitative analysis and good judgement of feasibility
