Summary

Red Viking, a Lincoln Electric Company, has an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Sales Manager who will guide revenue growth within our segment.  We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Manager who will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and promoting our Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV), Testing and Operational Intelligence solutions to a diverse client base. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, a technical understanding of Automation and Software systems, and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.

 

What You Will Do

 

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for AGV and Testing solutions in designated markets or regions.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and prospective customers, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, industry trends, and competitive dynamics to strategically position AGV products and services.
  • Lead Generation and Qualification: Identify potential clients, generate leads, and qualify prospects to create a robust sales pipeline.
  • Technical Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their operational needs and recommend tailored AGV solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and contracts that align with client goals and company objectives.
  • Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with engineering, project management, and after-sales support teams to ensure seamless delivery and implementation of AGV and Test systems.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report sales metrics, forecasts, and progress to management regularly, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated on AGV technology, industry advancements, and product updates, and share insights with the sales and marketing teams.
  • Client Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and close deals effectively while ensuring profitability and alignment with company policies.
  • Event Participation: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to showcase AGV solutions and strengthen brand presence.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and ethical sales practices in all business activities.

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-7 (or more) years of sales experience (automation industry)
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in industrial automation, robotics, or AGV systems.
  • Strong technical understanding of AGV systems and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving revenue growth.
