Job Responsibilities

  • Learn to process design releases for projects
  • Learn routing and order of operations for fab machine details
  • Learn timing estimating for operations
  • Learn how to build out a manufacturing job for unit assembly in the Kinetic ERP system.
  • Learn to process detail, assembly, and controls prints for machine shop and manufacturing teams.
  • Learn how to use CAD-LINK to process engineering releases.
  • Learn to build and maintain unit-based timelines in MS Project & review milestones
  • Learn and use manufacturing strategy info to properly source engineering releases
  • Support planner/processors with updating unit-based timelines
  • Learn to perform material status reviews in conjunction with project timing
  • Support weekly critical path meetings
  • Support timeline planners in escalating late critical path issues to open issues decks
  • Escalate timing concerns to timeline planners
  • Work with the master scheduler to develop a standard method of manufacturing for a frequently made assembly
  • Work with the master schedule to learn workload tracking and leveling.
  • Work with the planning manager to use AutoCAD to adjust and develop plant layouts for equipment placement

Job Requirements

Educational:    High School Diploma required. Currently engaged in college/university program preferred.                     

Experience:     Automotive Planning activities, Fabrication/machining, mechanical/electrical design, mechanical build, project management. ERP systems 

Skills:              Detail Oriented with good organizational skills.

Must be computer literate and have basic Microsoft Office capability.

Plus skills: BOM and Print reading, Excel: pivot tables & macros

MS Project, ERP system, Epicor, Kinetic, SAP

Database use, Visio, PowerBi
