We are seeking an experienced Project Analyst for our Shelby Township, MI site with a background in processing sales orders, milestone billing, and various responsibilities related to project entry. The project Analyst plays a key role supporting sales and project teams. What You Will Do

 

  • Distribute purchase orders received from various sources (central e-mail, portals) to various departments for processing (sales, spare parts, service).
  • Process sales orders received from account managers through our sales order approval process.
  • Create and update projects using our ERP system (Kinetic) to allow collection of costs and other financial tracking (invoicing, milestones, etc.).
  • Create milestone billing and shipment invoices based on feedback and authorization from the project manager.
  • Organizes project documentation folders (on server) and balance sheets for auditing.
  • Support special projects as needed.
  • Act as back up when required to other Business Unit Manager’s Project Analyst, spare parts, and service departments.

Education & Experience Requirements

 

  • Associates degree preferred, but relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 3+ years of reporting and project experience.
  • Excellent Excel skills - pivot tables and data management are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent, professional communication (i.e., encourages and practices active listening, communicates clear messages) and creates, supports and maintains an environment that supports open communication.
  • High sense of urgency; and ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines.
