These programs are designed to give new graduates the opportunity to gain practical experience that will prepare them for a career at Lincoln Electric. Customer Solutions and Technical Sales Development Program

This nine-month program allows employees to receive extensive training on our products, applications, and business lines in preparation to join our world-class sales organization. Employees will have access to the very best equipment and cutting edge technologies. Upon graduating from the program, employees are placed into one of our sales offices located in major cities throughout the United States. International assignments may be available too, based on business needs and the interest in relocating. Experience with customer interaction, problem solving and solution selling puts you in a position to follow a number of future career paths, including Sales Management, Product Management, Marketing and Communications—in addition to core Engineering-related opportunities. A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Science-based disciplines is required.

Customer Solutions and Technical Sales Development Program

This nine-month program allows employees to receive extensive training on our products, applications, and business lines in preparation to join our world-class sales organization. Employees will have access to the very best equipment and cutting edge technologies. Upon graduating from the program, employees are placed into one of our sales offices located in major cities throughout the United States. International assignments may be available too, based on business needs and the interest in relocating. Experience with customer interaction, problem solving and solution selling puts you in a position to follow a number of future career paths, including Sales Management, Product Management, Marketing and Communications—in addition to core Engineering-related opportunities. A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Science-based disciplines is required.

Engineering and Operations Development Program

This 12-month program allows employees to work on real projects that are driven by the business needs of the organization. You will spend 2-6 weeks in a variety of departments, exposing you to engineering and operations disciplines as you prepare for a specific career path in research and development, operations, automation, manufacturing engineering, consumable engineering, and application engineering to name a few. You will also be assigned a Peer and/or a Mentor to assist you with the many ins and outs of our engineering operations. Upon graduating from the program, employees will be assigned to teams based on engineering discipline and business needs. Those who wish to continue on the Operations track will have their development period extended by 12 months where international experience will be gained. A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with one of the following disciplines is required – Computer, Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Welding, Metallurgy or Material Science.

Finance Development Program

This 24-month program allows employees to obtain an in-depth look into our Finance organization. Rotating through various departments such as General Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Risk Management, the exposure to these areas provides employees the opportunity to expand their overall knowledge. Upon graduating from the program, employees can be assigned to Corporate Finance, Compliance, Investor Relations, Corporate Development, Corporate Tax, Payroll, or Accounts Payable/Receivable to name a few. A Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline is required; CPA preferred.

Finance Development Program

This 24-month program allows employees to obtain an in-depth look into our Finance organization. Rotating through various departments such as General Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Risk Management, the exposure to these areas provides employees the opportunity to expand their overall knowledge. Information Technology Development Program

This 12-month program allows employees to gain exposure to the business while demonstrating their technical expertise. From mobile applications to ERP systems, participants make meaningful contributions while completing training designed for specific departments to include Program Development, Systems Development, or IT Security and Infrastructure to name a few. Employees receive classroom as well as on-the-job training. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Technology Management is required. An Associate of Science Degree may also be considered for Infrastructure job opportunities.

This 12-month program allows employees to gain exposure to the business while demonstrating their technical expertise. This nine-month program, very similar to our Customer Solutions and Technical Sales Program, will also provide employees with intensive training on our products, applications, and business lines and provide access to the very best equipment and cutting edge technologies. However, this program allows employees to shift their focus to marketing the portfolio of products Lincoln Electric has to offer. Upon graduating from the program, employees are assigned to a Product Management team, working under the direction of a Portfolio Manager. Career paths include Portfolio Management, Marketing, and Communications—in addition to core engineering-related opportunities. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or related Business field is required.

Product Management Development Program

This nine-month program, very similar to our Customer Solutions and Technical Sales Program, will also provide employees with intensive training on our products, applications, and business lines and provide access to the very best equipment and cutting edge technologies. However, this program allows employees to shift their focus to marketing the portfolio of products Lincoln Electric has to offer. Upon graduating from the program, employees are assigned to a Product Management team, working under the direction of a Portfolio Manager. Career paths include Portfolio Management, Marketing, and Communications—in addition to core engineering-related opportunities. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or related Business field is required.
