Position Summary: Complete all engineered system assembly, electrical and mechanical, system debug, teardown and installation while meeting company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Take initiative to meet challenging project timelines and hour budgets;
- Provide the following system troubleshooting needs: wiring, mechanical assembly;
- Working knowledge of PLC, HMI, robot logic/path programming, networking;
- Ensure system schematics are updated to as-build conditions;
- Assist in field start-up and customer training when necessary (i.e., travel);
- Assist in-house customer service support (i.e., training, phone, service calls, etc.);
- Uphold company quality objectives and play an active role in reaching continuous improvement objectives;
- Travel for Installations & Service Calls; and
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Experience / Skills:
- High attention to detail and quality;
- Able to plan and execute daily and weekly scheduled tasks;
- Able to keep work area clean and organized;
- Able to follow directions from peers within the Integration department;
- Excellent team player with organizational and time management skills;
- Safely operate fork trucks and overhead cranes;
- Technical degree in similar engineering field required, or equivalent industry experience;
- Machine programming (PLC/HMI) experience - Rockwell, GE;
- Safety system programming and troubleshooting experience;
- Network programming and troubleshooting experience;
- Robot programming experience - Fanuc or ABB;
- Experience in robotic welding (MIG, TIG, Laser, or Spot) strongly preferred;
- Commitment to company values; and
- Educational, training and experience requirements may be modified at the management team’s discretion.
Nonessential Skills and Experience:
- Safety (OSHA, SDS), ANSI (RIA) standards.
Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S):
- Understand the Company’s EH&S Policy and how it relates to this job;
- Be aware of OSHA & EPA laws and regulations as well as company rules and policies that pertain to this job;
- Work in a safe and environmentally friendly manner and observe all company EH&S procedures;
- Immediately notify the supervisor if there is any safety hazard, any equipment not operating correctly or if there are any questions regarding EH&S procedures; and
- Attend required EH&S training.

- Work environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate; temperature in the assembly area may fluctuate with the seasons, as the production area is not air-conditioned.
