Job Responsibilities

•    Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of electronic circuits for welding machines and accessories, taking full technical ownership of design solutions
•    Analyze design and manufacturing issues, assess risks, and define robust, long term technical solutions
•    Define and approve testing, validation, and inspection procedures. Validate design changes and substitute components
•    Ensure compliance of electronic designs with applicable legal and regulatory requirements
•    Provide advanced engineering support during laboratory testing, production ramp up and serial production
•    Cooperate closely with Technology, Quality and Service departments in failure analysis and corrective actions
•    Create, review and approve product design documentation, specifications and internal engineering standards
•    Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to other engineers

Job Requirements

Required
•    University degree in Electronics Engineering or a related technical field
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic circuit design for industrial or power electronics applications
•    Advanced knowledge of electronic circuit design, troubleshooting and EMC problem solving
•    Proficient use of electronic measurement instruments and PCB CAD tools (Eagle, KiCad, Expedition, or equivalent)
•    Experience in design reviews and technical approval of design solutions and changes
•    Ability to create and review technical drawings, documentation and test reports
•    Strong technical ownership, proactive attitude and effective communication skills
•    Ability to work independently and in cross functional engineering teams
•    English proficiency at minimum B2 level
Optional / Nice to have
•    Experience in transformer and choke design
•    Advanced PCB routing skills with EMC focus
•    Practical knowledge of Solid Edge or similar mechanical CAD tools
•    Electrical background (e.g. harness routing, electro mechanical integration)
•    Experience with design transfer to production and design for manufacturing activities
