About the Opportunity

 

Powermig, Lincoln Electric's Automation Business Unit in Brazil, is looking for a highly motivated Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as the strategic HR partner for our business leaders and employees.

In this role, you will drive people strategies that support business objectives while fostering a positive employee experience, organizational effectiveness, talent development, and compliance with Brazilian labor legislation and company policies.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working in a dynamic manufacturing and automation environment, partnering with leaders to build high-performing teams and support sustainable business growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR Business Partner for Powermig in Brazil.
  • Partner with leaders to develop and execute people strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Provide guidance and coaching on performance management, employee relations, leadership effectiveness, talent development, and organizational design.
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, talent reviews, recruitment, and onboarding initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence, including Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Compliance.
  • Lead and support organizational changes, compensation reviews, promotions, and transformation initiatives.
  • Monitor HR metrics, including turnover, absenteeism, vacancies, overtime, and engagement, recommending actions to improve organizational performance.
  • Drive employee engagement, communication, and development initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations in accordance with Brazilian labor legislation and company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, governance standards, and legal requirements.
  • Promote a culture of safety, ethics, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist.
  • Experience supporting leaders in employee relations, performance management, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian labor legislation.
  • Professional English proficiency (written and verbal).

Preferred

  • Experience working in a matrixed and multinational organization.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or automation businesses.
