Summary
Lincoln Electric seeks a 2nd shift (non-rotational) Shift Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team, ensuring safety, quality, teamwork, and efficiency. What You Will Do
- Ensure strict safety protocol adherence for a secure workplace.
- Drive cost control to optimize resources and reduce expenses.
- Resolve production issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Address employee concerns, fostering a positive work environment with HR collaboration.
- Maintain high product quality standards.
- Manage team assignments based on qualifications and restrictions.
- Support Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, and R&D in process implementation.
- Enforce company policies and disciplinary guidelines.
- Conduct employee evaluations and assist with merit-based pay increases.
- Handle additional tasks as needed.
Experience and Education Requirements
- Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 3–5+ years in team lead/supervisory role, ideally in manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment.
- Skills:
- Deep understanding of departmental processes.
- Expertise in cost management strategies.
- Proficiency in KPIs/KBIs for team performance.
- Knowledge of SAP, quality control, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement.
- Strong problem-solving in complex people, process, and technology scenarios.
- Proven ability to thrive in collaborative team settings.
