Summary
Lincoln Electric has an exciting opportunity for CAD Administrator who will support our Plant Engineering Department in Euclid, Ohio. Plant Engineering is responsible for executing capital projects and delivering engineering support to the Consumable and Machine divisions within Cleveland Operations.
This role requires a highly skilled AutoCAD Electrical CAD Administrator to lead software upgrades, ensure compliance with CAD standards through print reviews, manage and expand the electrical parts library, provide training for new team members, and oversee user access and lifecycle management within Vault.
What You Will Do
• Collaborate in a team environment on capital and strategic projects for Cleveland Operations production facilities.
• Software Upgrades: Lead the upgrade of AutoCAD Electrical and Vault software on a biennial basis.
• Print Review: Evaluate electrical prints to ensure compliance with Lincoln Electric CAD standards.
• Library Management: Maintain and expand the electrical parts library by reviewing standard components and creating necessary footprints and schematic symbols.
• Training: Deliver training sessions for new hires, co-ops, and interns on AutoCAD Electrical and Vault usage.
• Vault Administration: Manage user access and lifecycle workflows within Vault for the Plant Engineering department.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the department manager.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.
Education & Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technologist, CAD Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and Vault administration preferred.
• Strong initiative and ownership mindset with a focus on delivering results.
• Sound judgment, self-motivation, and a strong commitment to safety.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and adapt to changing priorities.
