The Lincoln Electric Co-Op and Internship Programs provide meaningful experiences that will enhance your education. All Co-ops/Interns will be based at our global headquarters in Cleveland, OH.  Positions will vary based on Engineering Discipline and Academic Level achieved.

 

Learning while Earning: The Co-Op and Internship Programs are designed to give candidates the opportunity to gain practical experience that will prepare you for a career at Lincoln Electric. You will have access to the very best equipment and will be schooled on cutting edge techniques at our world-renowned Welding Technology Center.  The projects you will work on are real. They are driven by the business needs of the organization and are overseen by key members of the senior leadership team. 

 

As a member of the program, you will be exposed to a wide a variety of engineering and operations disciplines as you prepare for a specific career path in research and development, operations, automation, manufacturing engineering, consumable engineering, application engineering or others, as driven by the demands of our business and the marketplace.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct EHS analysis
  • Update EHS software systems
  • Review facility projects
  • Participate in incident investigations and reviews
  • Develop and update EHS Standards, Guidance Documents and Fact Sheets

 

Prerequisites:

  • Pursing a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (electrical, chemical, computer, industrial, mechanical, welding preferred), Civil, Environmental or Safety Sciences and/or Engineering
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Ability to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis
  • Desire to work in a manufacturing environment
