Role Summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a motivated Infrastructure Project Manager to join the Enterprise PMO. This is a junior-to-mid level role responsible for planning and executing IT infrastructure initiatives spanning networks, servers, data centers, end-user computing, and site operations — while supporting adjacent cybersecurity and compliance workstreams as needed.

The ideal candidate is an organized, execution-focused PM who can manage across multiple technical teams, keep projects on track, and grow into a seasoned practitioner within Lincoln Electric's PMO. This role works in close partnership with a Senior Infrastructure PM and is designed to develop into a fully independent delivery leader over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects including network refreshes and WAN/LAN upgrades, voice, server, storage and data center initiatives, end-user computing and device lifecycle programs, site IT operations, cybersecurity infrastructure hardening and remediation, and compliance-driven infrastructure initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependency maps aligned to Lincoln PMO standards.
  • Coordinate across Infrastructure, Operations, Desktop Support, Security and Vendor teams to drive accountability and on-time delivery.
  • Track and manage project risks, issues, and change requests; escalate blockers with appropriate urgency and proposed resolution paths.
  • Facilitate project working sessions, status reviews, and steering checkpoints; maintain RAID logs and action registers.
  • Produce clear, concise status reporting for stakeholders and leadership, translating technical detail into business-relevant updates.
  • Support infrastructure-adjacent cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability remediation, endpoint hardening, network segmentation, and identity and access improvements.
  • Assist in coordinating compliance-related workstreams that intersect with infrastructure — including assessment readiness activities — in partnership with the Senior Infrastructure PM.
  • Maintain governance documentation, audit evidence, and coordination artifacts as required by active compliance programs.
  • Apply Lincoln standard PMO processes — intake, planning, execution, and closure — consistently across all assigned work.
  • Contribute to PMO capability-building by participating in process improvement, template development, and peer knowledge-sharing as the team grows.
  • Build technical fluency over time to effectively partner with infrastructure and operations teams.
  • Infrastructure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with clear stakeholder communication throughout.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • 3-5 years of IT project management experience, with a focus on infrastructure or operations programs.
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure domains: networks (LAN/WAN, wireless), voice, servers, data centers, end-user computing, and/or site IT operations.
  • Solid project planning and execution skills — scope, schedule, risk, and dependency management.
  • Ability to coordinate work across multiple technical teams without direct authority.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — written, verbal, and in reporting.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong M365 Applications skills (Teams, SharePoint, PowerBI).

Preferred

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001).
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site environment.
  • Exposure to ITSM practices and service operations (e.g., incident, change, and problem management).
  • PMP, CAPM, or Agile/Scrum certification (or actively pursuing).
  • Experience supporting global or multi-site infrastructure rollouts.
