Overview of the Program
Join Lincoln Electric’s Marketing team as a Marketing Communications & Campaign Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting real-world marketing initiatives. This 11-week internship focuses on campaign and content execution, where you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop marketing materials, coordinate projects, and support digital content efforts.
You’ll work closely with marketing, digital, product, sales, and creative teams to help develop and organize marketing materials that support business priorities, product promotions, and channel communications. This role is designed for someone who can write clearly, manage defined tasks, collaborate professionally, and contribute practical work within an 11-week internship.
What You’ll Work On
- Draft and edit marketing content for campaigns, email, social media, product promotions, sales enablement materials, internal updates, and partner-facing communications
- Support campaign execution by organizing assets, tracking deliverables, coordinating reviews, and helping keep projects moving
- Help translate product, business, or technical inputs into clear marketing copy for specific audiences
- Assist with basic digital content updates for web, eCommerce, campaign pages, or partner-facing materials
- Help organize campaign assets, product content, images, and files so they are easier for teams to find and use
- Support light digital asset management work, including metadata tagging, file cleanup, quality checks, or content organization
- Pull basic campaign or content performance data and summarize key takeaways
- Prepare a final project recap, toolkit, content package, or recommendation summary at the end of the internship
Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- Eligible to work in the U.S. on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Basic understanding of marketing channels such as email, web, social media, eCommerce, or sales enablement
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
- Interest in manufacturing, industrial products, B2B marketing, channel marketing, or technical communications
- Writing sample, portfolio, campaign project, class project, or relevant communications work preferred
