Job Responsibilities
PURPOSE: To unload, transport, and stock all chemical raw materials and packaging supplies in the Euclid Consumables Division. To handle finished goods and move them from manufacturing point to the Shipping Department. This position reports to the Supervisor or Material Control Lead.
JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Perform all tasks associated with this job safely and in compliance with Plant Rules and regulations. Work to improve the safety of all company employees.
- Understand and comply with requirements of the Job Hazard Analysis for this job.
- Understand and follow all quality specifications and procedures relevant to this job.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Material Control Lead.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.
Job Requirements
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Must be self-motivated, safety and quality conscious, and must work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to read, write and do general math well enough to keep the records associated with this job.
- Must be able to understand and interpret the specifications and procedures related to this job.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and 100 lbs. on an occasional basis.
- Must be proficient at operating a Fork Lift Truck and a 6-ton bridge crane.
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
