Position SummaryThis internship provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and lessons learned for future graphic design career opportunities.  We are seeking a dedicated graphic designer to join our growing marketing team at Lincoln Electric Automation. You will collaborate with other team members to create effective and eye-catching images, documents and other visual content to increase our user base. Note: you MUST be currently enrolled in a degree or certificat program to be eligible for this position.

 

In addition to graphic design, we would like to see an ability to create compelling content as well as experience with videography and photography.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and design various materials for digital and print
  • Select colors, fonts, images, and layouts, while adhering to and consulting with our brand guidelines
  • Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner with a quality product
  • Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software
  • Manage multiple projects within design specifications
  • Determine voice and messaging for graphic design pieces
  • Create visualizations that convey accurate messaging for the project.
  • Experience with videography, photography, and post-production work including editing videos and photography

 

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a creative field
  • Exposure to Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, QuarkXPress, and Illustrator
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exposure to graphic design fundamentals
  • Attention to detail
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web
  • Experience with both print and digital media
  • Experience with video and photography editing software
