Job Responsibilities

Position Summary: Machine, inspect, assemble and build LEA designed machinery and equipment products, gaining experience and on the job training until all criteria listed below is met. 
Role qualifications:
•    Must be familiar with Company quality objectives and play an active role in reaching continuous improvement objectives.
•    Be aware of the relevance and importance of their activities and how they contribute to the achievement of quality objectives.

Position responsibilities:
•    Set-up and operate most standard machine shop equipment (in line with FLSA guidelines).
•    Provide general assistance as needed in the machine shop.
•    Inspect parts to assure conformance to specification.
•    Assist at build sites as needed in Assembly area.
•    General shop cleaning, organization and 6S. 
•    Read and understand blueprints, customer specs., and internal documentation
•    Work well with Machinists, Assembly Technicians & Management. 
•    Other duties as assigned. 

Job Requirements

Essential skills and experience:
•    Must be attending high school or skills trade school
•    Operate forklift and operate crane (if age criteria is met)
•    Commitment to company values

Nonessential skills and experience:
•    Basic shop math.
•    Machine trade skills training
