Senior Network Security Specialist (Palo Alto & Cisco)
Hybrid | On-Call Rotation Required
 

Are you passionate about building and securing enterprise-scale networks? We're looking for an experienced Network Security Specialist III to join our IT Infrastructure team and play a critical role in protecting and enhancing our global network environment.

In this role, you'll leverage your expertise in Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco networking technologies, VPNs, cloud networking, and network security best practices to support daily operations and lead infrastructure improvements that keep our business connected and secure.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on network professional who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating across teams, and driving continuous improvement in a dynamic global environment.

What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and manage Palo Alto firewall configurations, security policies, VPNs, and threat prevention services.
  • Monitor and maintain secure, reliable, and high-performing network infrastructure.
  • Configure and support Cisco-based network environments, including switching, routing, and VLANs.
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to execute infrastructure and security initiatives.
  • Support network-related projects including upgrades, site expansions, cloud connectivity, and security enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot complex networking and security issues and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Maintain network documentation, standards, and security procedures.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for critical infrastructure support.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through collaboration, innovation, and customer-focused service.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5 years of experience supporting enterprise network and network security environments.
  • Hands-on experience administering Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies including routing, switching, and VLAN management.
  • Experience with VPN technologies, network segmentation, and security controls.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Palo Alto Prisma experience.
  • Experience supporting hybrid cloud and multi-site network environments.
  • Experience with network monitoring and security analytics tools.
