IT Systems Administration Specialist
About the Role
We are looking for an IT Systems Administration Specialist II to join our global IT Infrastructure team. This position plays a key role in managing and evolving our hybrid cloud environment, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable systems that support business operations across multiple locations.
You will work with Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, virtualization, and automation tools while collaborating with global teams to improve infrastructure performance, security, and user experience.
What You'll Do
- Administer and support Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments
- Manage Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policies, DNS, and DHCP services
- Support and maintain Windows Server environments
- Administer VMware infrastructure and virtualization platforms
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and system issues
- Participate in patch management, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and other technologies
- Collaborate with global IT teams on infrastructure projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain system documentation and technical standards
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience managing Microsoft infrastructure environments
- Strong knowledge of:
- Microsoft Azure
- Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
- Windows Server
- VMware
- PowerShell scripting
- Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work with global teams in a collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-800, AZ-801)
- Experience with Intune, SCCM, or endpoint management tools
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with Python, Terraform, or YAML
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and vulnerability management
