Industrial Engineering Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee Process, Production, OpEx (including spare parts and repair costs), and Industrial Engineering activities.
• Lead cross-functional continuous improvement and VAVE initiatives across products and processes.
• Ensure application of technical standards, best practices, and sustainable manufacturing principles.
• Coach engineers and develop technical and operational capabilities within the organization.
• Contribute to new technology definition, product industrialization, and make-or-buy decisions.
• Lead capacity definition and improvement initiatives at plant level.
• Manage CAPEX definition and deployment, including equipment specification, supplier selection, purchasing (Ariba), and execution.
• Monitor operational KPIs and report performance to the Operations Director while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 8–10 years in industrial engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering or related field; (master’s degree is preferred)
  • Advance level in English both written and spoken
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and CAPEX management.
  • Leadership mindset, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, ability to coach and develop teams.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement platforms.
  • Ability to mentor engineers and build technical capabilities.
  • Skilled in make-or-buy decisions and long-term capacity planning.
  • Expertise in leading cross-functional projects and managing timelines.
  • Strong focus on process optimization and cost reduction.
  • Deep knowledge of industrialization, new technology implementation, and equipment purchasing.
  • Effective stakeholder management across departments.
