Overview of the Program
Lincoln Electric's Harris Products Groups’ Mechanical Engineering Co-op Program offers hands-on experience in mechanical engineering. Co-op will work alongside experienced engineers to drive change throughout the organization. This program is ideal for individuals eager to apply their academic knowledge in a fast-paced, real-world environment where innovation and collaboration drive success.
What You'll Work On
- Identify and implement improvements to existing manufacturing processes to enhance the safety, quality, and efficiency of global products.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers on capital projects & production support.
- Learn and apply Six Sigma tools and techniques through formal training and hands-on improvement projects.
Basic Qualifications
- Pursuing or having achieved a bachelor's degree in engineering
- Eligible to work in the U.S. on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- An engineering degree in any of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Industrial, or any related technologies
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
- Desire to work in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Familiarity with OSHA and SDS safety standards
