Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a Master Data Governance Analyst to play a key role in strengthening and scaling our global data governance framework. In this role, you will partner closely with business and IT stakeholders to ensure high‑quality, compliant, and well‑governed master data across the enterprise. You will support governance solution rollouts, enable effective decision‑making, and help translate governance standards into practical, scalable processes.

Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the implementation of global master data governance initiatives, including solution rollouts and governance standards.
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, translating governance decisions into clear system and process requirements.
- Document business processes, data standards, and governance workflows to ensure consistent global adoption.
- Create and maintain functional specifications for governance‑related system enhancements.
- Perform fit‑gap analyses between business requirements and MDG solutions to minimize custom development.
- Support workflow design and configuration, including change request types, approval workflows, and notifications.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions with regional and functional stakeholders to drive alignment and engagement.
- Assist with data migration and reconciliation activities, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systems.
- Monitor adoption of governance practices and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop and track KPIs and dashboards to measure data quality and governance effectiveness; communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Support change management activities, including training materials, communications, and onboarding for new governance processes.
- Ensure governance activities align with internal controls, audit requirements, and SOX compliance.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data governance, master data management, or business process improvement.
- Strong understanding of SAP ERP environments, including data structures and integration points.
- Experience with SAP MDG or similar MDG solutions is highly desirable.
- Proven experience working in global or matrixed environments and collaborating with project or program teams.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
- Solid business acumen with the ability to align data governance initiatives to broader business objectives.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with high attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Experience with workflow configuration and change request management is a plus.
- Familiarity with SOX and internal audit frameworks is a plus.
- Proficiency with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Power BI, or similar.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
