Purpose
Coordinate daily activities of specific Warehouse, Receiving and Shipping functions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in daily activities of the receiving and shipping dock and office
- Coordinate the activities of small groups of personnel
- Verify and keep accurate records on incoming and outgoing shipments
- Create required paperwork for shipments and work in process materials
- Overall responsibility for purchase order maintenance for outsourced materials
- Handle all documents pertaining to receiving and shipping of parts for both internal and external suppliers
- Utilize handheld RF Scan guns or computer to perform required transactions in SAP
- Electronically put material in transit from shipping point to receiving destination
- Prepare and coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space
- Knowledge of crating and packaging requirements for Export packing and shipping Participate in physical inventories with higher Level of responsibility
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the RISE Strategy
Basic Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Forklift experience required
- Prefer 2 years Warehouse, Receiving and/or Shipping experience
- Strict attention to detail while maintaining accurate records
- Excellent safety and attendance record
- Ability to train and coordinate the activities of departmental personnel
- Knowledge of the purchasing computer system, materials management and inventory control
- Proficient in the use of SAP software used in the Warehouse, Receiving and Shipping operation
- Ability to multitask concerning the responsibilities listed
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem solving abilities
